K-ClinicBefore Skin Treatment in Korea: BIOFACE Pre-Trip Checklist
Preparing for BIOFACE clinic in Seoul is simple: come bare-faced or remove makeup at the clinic, tell the doctor if you take blood-thinning or other medication, and avoid saunas, alcohol and strenuous exercise for a few days afterwards. Book a time slot and arrive early; the price list is before tax, so add 10% VAT at checkout. The clinic is at Sinsa Station exit 4, with Chinese, English and Japanese consultation always available.
The three most important things before you leave
For treatment at BIOFACE clinic, there is not much to prepare, but three things are best done first: confirm your time slot, list your medication, and decide your budget and the treatment you want.
All treatments at the clinic are non-surgical and done the same day, so you do not need to re-plan your whole trip around them. Going through the checklist below is enough.
1. Time slot: weekdays early, Saturday until 16:00
Hours: Mon-Wed and Fri 10:00-20:00 (lunch break 13:00-14:00), Thu 10:00-19:00 (lunch break 13:00-14:00), Sat 10:00-16:00. Closed on Sundays and public holidays.
We recommend you book ahead and arrive early, especially because Thursday (until 19:00) and Saturday (until 16:00) close earlier. The clinic is closed on Sundays and public holidays, so plan your flights and itinerary around that.
2. Medication list: always mention blood thinners first
The clinic specifically asks: if you take blood-thinning or similar medication, tell them beforehand. List the medication and supplements you take, as a phone photo or written text, and show it to the doctor at your consultation.
Please write the drug name, the dose and how long you have been taking it. You do not need to read Korean: Chinese, English and Japanese consultation is always available in the clinic, and you can also send the list to K-Clinic beforehand so that we can pass it on.
3. Makeup: come bare-faced or remove it at the clinic
According to the clinic, you can come bare-faced on the day of treatment or remove your makeup at the clinic, so there is no need to wash your face at the hotel first. For skincare after treatment, follow the doctor's instructions.
4. Budget: the price list is before tax
The BIOFACE price list is before tax, with 10% VAT added, and valid until 31 Dec 2026. For example, Shurink Universe 300 shots is ₩174,000 before VAT, so at checkout it is ₩174,000 × 1.1 = ₩191,400.
Anesthesia is extra (nitrous oxide ₩10,000, sleep sedation ₩200,000), choosing the director adds 10-20%, and promotions cannot be combined. Check these items before you leave.
5. After treatment: avoid saunas, alcohol and strenuous exercise
For a few days after treatment, avoid saunas, alcohol and strenuous exercise. If your itinerary includes a jjimjilbang (Korean sauna) or an evening drink, adjust it in advance. With most treatments you can go about your normal day the next day, and detailed aftercare instructions are given after the procedure.
For how to plan your trip, see the article on which day of the trip to schedule your treatment, and place it on a day when you can rest.
6. How to get to the clinic
The address is 605 Gangnam-daero, 10th floor, Seocho-gu, Seoul, exit 4 of Sinsa Station, next to the Garosu-gil area. Take the subway to Sinsa Station and use exit 4.
