Korea Cosmetic Treatment Trip Timing: BIOFACE Seoul Schedule

The best time for a cosmetic treatment on a Korea trip is the middle-to-late part of your stay. At BIOFACE in Sinsa, Seoul, all treatments are non-surgical and finished the same day, most people resume normal activity the next day, and you should avoid saunas, alcohol and hard exercise for a few days afterwards. Keep at least one buffer day before your flight.
When to Book a Cosmetic Treatment on a Korea Trip
If you are adding a cosmetic treatment to a Korea holiday, the middle-to-late part of your trip works best. Do the jjimjilbang and the soju before the treatment, then keep at least one more day before your flight.
The reasoning comes from BIOFACE's own guidance: treatments are finished the same day, most people can resume normal activity the next day, but you should avoid saunas, alcohol and hard exercise for a few days afterwards.
If you have the treatment on day one, every remaining day has to avoid those three things. If you do it on your last night, there is no time left to ask questions while you are still in Korea. The middle-to-late slot covers both.
Sample 5 Days / 4 Nights Schedule
For a 5 days/4 nights trip, K-Clinic suggests booking your treatment on a weekday evening on day 3.

Day 2: Put the jjimjilbang, Korean BBQ with drinks and any long walking days here.
Day 3: Shop around Sinsa Station and Garosu-gil during the day, then go to BIOFACE in the evening. BIOFACE is at Exit 4 of Sinsa Station, right next to the Garosu-gil area.
Day 4: Keep it light with shopping or cafés, but avoid saunas, alcohol and hard exercise.
Day 5: Fly home. If you still have questions about aftercare, ask through the live chat on this website before your flight.
This is only an example. Which treatment you have and how long aftercare lasts depend on the treatment and the doctor's explanation.
What to Avoid After a Cosmetic Treatment in Korea
For a few days after treatment, avoid saunas, alcohol and hard exercise, which happen to be three things many Korea itineraries include.

Jjimjilbang and hotel saunas both count. Hiking and gym sessions should also go before the treatment. Also, if you are taking anticoagulant or similar medication, tell the clinic when you book.
Treatment Day: Sightsee First, Visit in the Evening
BIOFACE is open until 20:00 Monday to Wednesday and Friday, and until 19:00 on Thursday, with a lunch break from 13:00 to 14:00. It is open on Saturdays from 10:00 to 16:00 and closed on Sundays and public holidays.
| Day | Opening hours |
|---|---|
| Mon–Wed, Fri | 10:00–20:00 (lunch 13:00–14:00) |
| Thursday | 10:00–19:00 (lunch 13:00–14:00) |
| Saturday | 10:00–16:00 |
| Sunday / public holidays | Closed |

Consultations are available in Chinese, English and Japanese at all times, and consultation, examination and treatment are all completed on the same day. You can arrive without makeup or remove it at the clinic, so wearing makeup while sightseeing during the day is fine.
K-Clinic's advice: if you choose a weekday evening, do not book a slot too close to closing time, and remember that Thursday closes an hour earlier.

Work Out Your Budget Before You Fly
