Luggage and documents: go straight after landing
If you will be seen on arrival day, keep the necessary items in your bag: your passport, imaging discs or files from home, the medication you take (or a photo of the prescription), and the shingles onset date if relevant.
Please bring any MRI, CT, X-ray images or medical records from home on disc or as files; tell us about the medication you are taking, especially blood thinners and painkillers; and for shingles, tell us the onset date and location. You do not need to bring much luggage; traveling light is easier.
After the arrival-day visit
The first visit is a consultation, physical examination and imaging, and treatment can be done the same day if suitable. The clinic confirms nerve and treatment position with C-arm imaging and uses very fine MTS microneedles; steroids are used only with careful judgment depending on the condition, and avoided as a rule. The attending doctor is Director Koo Jae-won (MD, PhD).
After treatment you can rest in the 8th-floor day ward for 6 hours or more, then return to your accommodation. We suggest booking your accommodation in advance so you are not too tired after the arrival-day visit.
